We changed this design at least 5 times because the man kept changing his mind...the initial reason he came to us was because the HOA said he had to do something about the soil in his yard eroding onto the street. He had some plumbing done and they had dug up the yard and there was not much grass left. All the plants around the house were old and dated and needed to be replaced.
So in the end we came up with a terracing plan that used steel and boulders along with limestone block walls. Then we reduced the height of the walls on either side of the entry stairs to make it more inviting and we put lighting in there for night time use. Then the plantings around the front entry were arranged to try to give as much symmetry as possible to the asymmetrical house.
